"Gryd, we're going to have to pull you out of there if you can't get on their hard drive soon." The staticky voice whispered into his ear from the communications chip.
"Just give me a moment! I'll be done soon!" Gryd replied urgently, voice hushed. If they pulled him out of the mission too soon, then another opportunity to hack into the enemy's encoded files might never happen again. Even as he heard the alarms going off around him and shouts coming from the adjacent halls, he wouldn't back down.
Placing his paws delicately on the exposed computer grid, the hacker closed his green and orange eyes. The silver bracelets around his paws melted around the black, coating his fur, until it seeped into the wires and encasing those as well in a silvery liquid.
"Any time now... I'm giving you thirty seconds before we send in a rescue team."
Gryd's tail twitched as he heard his commander speak impatiently into the communication chip again. He opened his eyes, but now they glowed entirely green, and the orange fleck had faded to nothing.
"No. Don't pull me out. I've got it... I'm on the grid."

" title=" (Smile)"/> I like the effect you used for the gold around the feet, it ended up nicely. I also like the eyes. The anatomy could use some work, though. I know you probably weren't going for a realistic style, but there are still a couple of things that look slightly off. For example, the left back leg looks a little too small. Another thing you could improve on is the shading. I like the way you shaded the right back leg and paw, but the body and face don't seem to have enough shadows. I suggest using a brush with a harder edge for shading so it doesn't look so blurry. These, are just suggestions, though, and the drawing still looks good without these changes. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
